ECM-1600
Condition
If the control module receives a signal from the boost pressure sensor which is lower than 0.2 V (low signal) or higher than 4.85 V (high signal) it is interpreted as a fault and ECM-1600 is stored.
Substitute value
Boost pressure control runs in an open-loop, in other words set duty cycles are generated regardless of boost pressure.
Possible source
Signal too high:
-contact resistance in terminals
-short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable
-open-circuit in signal cable
-defective boost pressure sensor
Signal too low:
-short-circuit to ground in the signal cable
-defective boost pressure sensor
Fault symptom[s]
-none
ECM-170F
Condition
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-170F is stored if the boost pressure sensor's registered pressure deviates from the atmospheric pressure sensor's registered pressure. This comparison is made at engine start (at approximately 500 rpm) before the turbocharger (TC) has built up a boost pressure.
Substitute value
Possible source
Faulty signal
-contact resistance in terminals
-defective boost pressure sensor
-defective atmospheric pressure sensor
Fault symptom[s]
-none
Så eftersom du har båda dessa felkoder så pekar mycket åt att din laddtryckgivare inte fungerar som den skall, antingen dålig kontakt eller så behöver den troligtvis bytas ut.
