Tack för all hjälp! Du kan svara på svenska eller engelska förresten!

Finding a pair of headlights here is no problem at all: http://www.bildelsbasen.se/?link=list&g ... =111100105 But i don't know about the shipping costs, or if a junkyard will send stuff outside sweden. Try to e-mail any of the companies in the list and see what they say...

There is some differences in the wiring too, the diagrams for US and EU versions are on separate pages. If I can get them scanned I'll post them here.

Cant get that url to work, go from here, choose 240, and then "strålkastare" in the next window

We have the opposite situation in Sweden, here are Amerika headlights like gold while european parts are for free  If you can get a resonable price for shipping you just have to find someone to change parts with if you want ;)

@Sparkz--Thanks so much for the quick reply. I didn't realize that the lights had different wiring schematics. If you get a chance I'd love to take a look at the EU diagrams. And I'll try emailing some of the parts yards on Monday.

@Bensinskalle--It's the same here! I was at the junkyard today and they're everywhere, and cheap! I'd gladly trade you or anyone else for some EU style lights. I just got a pair of nice taillights this morning for $60, so I would guess headlights wouldn't be much worse. Just let me know the year you want and I'll go on a hunt for them! Tack så mycket!

I don't know which other parts that are different between USA and EU on the front, I thought that there were something more than just the headlights but I can be very wrong

The wiring should not be a problem. EU lamps just have half and full light and a ground cable attached, so i'm sure you just have to find these two cables for each task in the present wiring and connect to them, while isolating the rest of the cables. Just install a new ground cable if the present is hard to find.

I'm not sure about the indicator, don't think you have to replace them?

I got you. I know at the time my car was made the lighting codes were different and the european headlights were not legal. However since then the US has expanded their light codes to include these style of lights. They're definitely legal now, and quite a few people use them because they are brighter with no trouble from the police or the department of motor vehicles.
