Recently I took my car to ordinary service and as part of this, the software was updated to latest version.
Probably not related to the software update, but the day after, I got a “drivetrain issue” message in the display. However, I could also just click it away as nothing has happened, but the message came back at the next trip, and the next, and then I took the car to service again. The mechanic cleared the failure log and booked a new time, because he could not find the root cause at the time he had.
Two days later, after the default drivetrain message, and after approx 30 minutes of driving, a new message appeared, something like “Slow down, the car will slow down”, and just after that the max speed was reduced to 4 km/h.
Now, 10 days later, the car is still in the workshop, and the mechanics have replaced the onboard charger, are talking about the IEM and plan to also replace the ERAD. Luckily, the car is still under warranty and the mechanics are very helpful.
Anyone else with drivetrain issues like this?
