NB: My first volvo, do not have much idea about this car, but runs good. Not much service history except hand written olja och oljefilter changed at 24000. Car computer shows DAGS FÖR SERVICE

"Dags för service " is just a reminder message for service.
It is not a faultindication.
It comes every 30.000km or 12 month since last reset.

I dont know about any serviceshops in that area, but for a normal oil and filter service it does not matter much.
Call a few shops and ask for price. I bet there is a significant pricediffrence between them.

If it says "service erfodras", then it is a faultindication

Example:
If it says "Motorsystem service erfodras", then it is a faultindication for the engine.

Or "Larm service erfodras", then it is a fault in the alamsystem, and so on....

But "Dags för service" is just a reminder for a normal service.
