Version v4.0
1. Module compatibility with the following VOLVO:
- XC70 MY2008-MY2017
- V70 MY2008-MY2017
- XC60 MY2013-MY2018
- V60, S60, V40CC all with function Start/Stop.
2. Module allows to activate additional functions:
2.1 Allows to close the tailgate from remote or interior button
2.2 Remembers last setting of Start/Stop function. If was off, then at next engine start it will not turn on. 2.3 Automatically unlocks the doors when you turn off the engine.
Works only on XC70 MY2012-MY2017 and XC60 MY2013-MY2017.
3. Installation instruction.
Module connects to OBDII diagnostic port below the steering column.
Connect the module connector to diagnostic port of the car.
Hide the module behind the carpet or attach with zip ties to OBD wiring harness.
Next turn ignition On and then Off, to let the module initialize and detect the model of the car.
By default the module is designed to automatically detect the model of the car.
If the module does not function as it should, it probably did not detect automatically the model of the car and you will need to do it manually (Follow point 4).
4. Manual model selection using the physical switches.
Open the module cover by prying it using small flat head screwdriver. The cover is held tightly by four plastic pins at four corners of the box.
Now locate the six DIP switches on the circuit board.
1,2 and 3 switches determine the model of the car to which the module is connected. Switch up means - ON
Switch down means - Off

1-OFF, 2-OFF, 3-OFF – Auto detect of model car 1-OFF, 2-ON, 3-OFF – XC60, V60, S60
1-ON, 2-ON, 3-ON – XC70 MY2008-MY2010 1-ON, 2-ON, 3-OFF – XC70 MY2011
1-ON, 2-OFF, 3-OFF – XC70 MY2012-MY2017 1-OFF, 2-OFF, 3-ON – V40CC
5. Turning On or Off different functions of the module.
4,5 and 6 switches allow to turn on or off different functions of the module.
DIP4 – tailgate close function from remote or interior button.
DIP5 – function that remembers the previous setting of Start/Stop function.
DIP6 – function that unlocks all doors as soon as engine is turned off.
Moving the switch up will turn On the particular function or down will turn off the function.
Attention!!!
Disconnect the module from the car before making any changes to the module programming.
6. Module functions.
6.1 Tailgate close from remote key fob or interior button.
Function will work only if your car is equipped with power tailgate from factory. Long press on remote key fob or interior button will open the tailgate.
Short press on remote key fob or interior button will close the tailgate.
6.2 Disabling the Start/Stop function.
Function works if your car is equipped with Start/Stop function.
Module remembers the previous user setting.
If user disabled the Start/Stop function, by pressing the button on the center console, then at every next engine start, the Start/Stop function will remain off or disabled.
6.3 Automatic door unlock.
On all Volvos there is function which automatically locks all doors when car starts to move. The annoying part is when exiting the car you need to manually unlock the doors.
This function will automatically unlock the doors for you when you turn off the engine.
