Hello!
(I will write an English, but please reply in Swedish)
Tldr; I need a new battery in my v60. Can I do it myself or do I need to bring it to the dealer?
I bought a Volvo V6 D4 from 2021 last year and noticed already last winter that the battery was not in the best shape. I charged it up about once a week or once every other week and that worked well enough to run the diesel heater. Now as it’s starting to get cold again and when I try to charge the battery it goes from 13 V back down to 12 V in about a half an hour so I think it’s about dead. Plus, the diesel heater won’t start and the car keeps on warning me about a low battery level. I opened up the battery compartment in the back and took a look and mechanically it looks easy to change the battery but I wonder if I’m going to run into a bunch of problems with systems being reset and so on. So my main question is, can I change the battery myself or do I need to bring it to your shop so that they can reprogram?
Cheers
