Jeg har Four-C Active Chassis på min XC70 Summum D5 2009 og bruker Advanced mode på langturer på landevei eller motorvei. Bilen blir stødig og fin og krenger lite. Fast styring og god veifølelse. Mer responsiv girkasse.
"Advanced mode is where your Volvo becomes a whole other vehicle. I found traces of BMW DNA in my test-vehicle’s (a Volvo S60 T6 AWD) handling characteristics when I selected Advanced. Body roll was non-existent even when I pushed the car hard into an on-ramp. Steering feel was very communicative and I knew exactly where the wheels were and what they were doing. You truly feel the road when you select advanced mode. I also had the opportunity to try this system in Volvo’s crossover, the XC70, and even with the extra weight and height, Advanced mode could still be counted on to provide sport-coupe like handling in any curve. You also feel that the transmission is more eager to change gears in Advanced mode. While still smooth, gears will change more abruptly in the system’s sportiest mode but never impede acceleration. In fact, you actually shave off a few milliseconds from your 0-60 time in advance mode because the transmission up shift’s more rapidly."
