Dear Volvo Forum,

Could you please assist us and share your views & experience on the following hot topic we are currently discussing in Germany?
Head gasket issues , micro cracks in the motor block for 2.4L 5 cylinder diesel engines 163PS & 215PS D4 /D5 Model year 2010 - 2014 loss of cooling liquid associated with this problem.

Does this issue present in Sweden as well?
Position of Volvo Corp?
Is there a service bulletin from Volvo Corporation, if any?
If yes, is root-cause found and treated?
If yes form which model year?
Preventative Head gasket replacement for affected engines?
