Finns inte mkt info om hur man byter denna sensor, finner bara
"[Tip: Rob Bareiss] The 960 (B6304) engine uses a sensor mounted at the back end of one of the camshafts. It's in the same position as the distributor on an 850/S/V70 5cylinder. Since the 960 has no distributor, it uses this thing instead. Also saves a bunch of space at the back of the engine. Probably should consider it a regular service item, as with the 4-cylinder models. Replacing it is probably cheaper than having the car towed one time... Removing it is similar to the B23X engines except for the wiring clip on the firewall.
[DanR] To get the connector off the bracket, all you need is a fairly small flat bladed screw driver. Pry away the metal collar that surrounds the connector; it has a clip that snaps in place. The part that snaps in is on the underside of the clip. If you break the plastic shells holding it together, they are replaceable from the dealer. On reinstallation, make sure you insert correctly the two wires from the trans oil temp sensor."
Och det ger ju ingen info om hur man kollar sensorn eller ens hur detaljen ser ut eller närmare bestämt var den sitter. Finns möjligen någon bild så man kan hitta rätt.
Det är förmodligen inte denna sensor som ger är orsaken till att jag ibland måste pumpa med gaspedalen för att bilen ska starta (annan tråd) men det skadar ju inte att byta den i alla fall efter 38000 mil. Bäst vore dock info om hur man funktionskollar. Har instrument för eljobb.
