I've a feeling it looks worse than it really is.

I wouldnt get my hopes up... My car is in damn good condition underneath, but that bracket? It looked quite fine, better than yours tbh, felt solid while bolted to the car.... But fell into pieces when removing it... Not to mention it was just as stuck to the car with the bolts removed as it was with the bolts still attached...
Its the area where the 2 pieces mate that goes to hell, so much crap gets stuck there and eats them up from the inside...

For your sake I hope you have better luck than me... There were a lot of cursing underneath the car that day :mrgreen:

I was mounting a towhook, which included a replacement bracket to lower the exhaustpipe(with the original mounting it would hit the towhook's frame).
