Hi,
I'm new in Sweden so finding my way around.
Originally from Cape Town South Africa.

Back home we had a few car part shops that sold car parts for all manufacturers. (oem and generic).
Any of those here in Stockholm?

Specifically looking for the front right outer cv joint for 2006 Volvo v50 1.8 Petrol.

TIA

My own favorite (web-) shop is trodo.se, they use to have low prices on OEM brands..
There is no reason to buy Chinese crap with unknown life span when you can get SKF or FAG for a decent price :-)

There are probably Mekonomen and Autoexperten shops nearby if you prefer not to use web shops. I doubt they have the parts on the shelf but they can probably order them. I don't think Biltema sells CV joints but why not check. We have some discussions ongoing about the (varying) quality level of their spare parts though. ;-) Anyway you can find most of the consumables in their warehouses. Their synthetic engine oils are pretty OK, I have used them for years..
Other useful web shops for Volvo parts;
vparts.se
skruvat.se
mekster.se
bildelaronline24.se
autodoc.se

Just a little notice, bildelaronline24 and Autodoc is the same thing.
They have multiple domains to gain google-index, like reservdelar24.se and similar.
Partex global is the owner and autodoc delivers.

Among the ones listed above i like vparts, very very quick on delivery, next up is Trodo.
Autodoc is no longer keeping up with orders in my opinion, from order to shipping is often 3-4 days.

Another useful resource is www.volvopartswebstore.com. Not for ordering parts but: 1 get an idea how much original parts will cost (divide the USD price by 10), 2 find the Volvo part number. Then google for Volvo and the number and the part will hopefully appear in numerous web shops. However it will not work for cv joints since volvo only sells complete drive shafts..
