I've been trying to figure out what a Throttle body cleaner is here in Sweden, but the only two things that I came across in various online forums (at least as far as my limited Swedish goes) were Bräkleen and the EGR3. Neither of which I've been able to find in any shops or gas stations.

Biltema only has their own brands and noone there knew which one to recommend me and eventhough the gas stations that I've checked carry CRC, I've not yet come across Bräkleen. I think the Biltema brake cleaner (http://biltema.se/sv/Bilvard/Ovrigt/Bro ... ng-364509/) might be okay, but I didn't want to risk it without checking back with someone (i.e. you guys  ) who might know better.

Any product recommendations and where to get them?

" Löser upp och avlägsnar bromsvätska, olja, fett och andra föroreningar från bromsbelägg, bromstrummor och andra bromsdelar. 400 ml."

Translated: Dissolves and removes brake fluid, oil, fat and other stuff from brake pads, brake drums and other components in the braking system.

Is that what your looking for? Where are you from anyways? :D

Yeah, I've come across the EGR online, but not in any shops. (Also, it's really expensive, wtf)

I didn't just want to buy the biltema brake cleaner because I don't know if that's equally suitable for cleaning the throttle body as bräkleen. I assume that it is, but using the wrong chemical on the TB can damage the coating and I'm trying to find out which cleaners have that and which ones don't.

I've seen a couple of other posts recommending just fuel or t-röd, but that also almost seems a bit aggressive.
Picking up my new TB gasket from bilia tomorrow, I guess I'll ask them for recommendations too.

I'm from Germany btw :)

To follow up on this in case someone is interested:

went to Bilia where I ordered my new gasket and they recommended me Quickleen, which they say they use as well when cleaning throttle bodies. According to them it's not as agressive as Bräkleen.

Bought a bottle, was really cheap, 40sek. Let's see how it holds up...
