Hitta tråden, men såg att det han fick "Low pressure" när motorn stannade , så det kanske inte är samma orsak. (Inget nämnt om svart rök)

https://forums.swedespeed.com/showthrea ... ast-resort!

HDi engines and their problems

1.6 HDi:
In most cases this 1560 cm3 75/90/110 and than in case of later versions 75/95/120 HP engine was coming standard with a dual overhead cam, 16 valve, setup but after 2010 a single overhead cam, 8 valve version became also available. The best version is the 90 HP one which is lacking both a DPF and a dual mass flywheel however it can be only detected via the chassis number. This power plant can be found in the Ford C-Max, Fusion, Citroen C4 and Peugeot 307, 308.

There are three generations of the 1.6 HDi turbo diesel: the first one is all coming standard with a 16 valve layout, the second one was replaced with a single overhead cam and 8 valves layout, is fitted with a start-stop system and a DPF - a setup which is called e-HDi - and the third gen remained still and 8 valve unit but Adblue was added to the system to reduce its emissions - which is called Blue HDi.

The first generation's most common issue is its fuel injector's discharge. It can be detected by a specific tea kettle whispering like noise along with the oily and sooty deposit on the cylinder head - and in a worth case scenario even on the outside of it - which is a direct result of the in question problem. It's not expensive to fix however the cleaning process have to be done properly while the copper sealing rings must be replaced otherwise there will be a sand like sediment in the oil, affecting the lubrication of the turbo charger than killing it.

In case of the second and third generation models the discharge of the fuel injectors is not that common but they're well known for breaking down after a certain millage - without any sign. The resonance of the 1.6 HDi is fading the fuel tubes are rubbing. The plastic cover of the fuel temperature sensor is also a weak spot due to the fact that it's cracking, resulting the flow in of diesel fuel on the nearby plugs after which the car will start to yank and to produce a massive amount of smoke. The oil is also tending to leak at the gaskets, mostly at the crankshaft seal, camshaft or fuel injectors when the DPF is becoming fully clogged or the oil pipes/hoses are clogged or having some kind of dirt deposited. The upper mentioned camshaft position sensor issue which is also present in the 1.4 HDi is also present here along with the pressure sensor of the common rail system which is leading to the yanking or the stopping of the engine.

Models in which the 1.6 HDi was/is installed: Peugeot 206, 207, 208, 307, 308, 407, 508, Partner, 3008, 2008, 5008, Citroen C2, C3, C4, C5, C4 Picasso, Xsara Picasso, C3 Picasso, Berlingo, DS3, DS4, DS5, Ford Focus, C-MAX, Fiesta, Fusion, Volvo C30, S80, S40, V60, S60, V50, Mini Cooper D, Mazda 2, 3 and Suzuki SX4
