Engine pulsing u acceleration 2,5d ( audi )
Hello, just bougt me a Volvo S80 2.5D ( audi) year 1999 - 2000 auto- 147000kms..

I have the following problem: Each time when rpm reach about 2500rpm the car accelerate for 1 seconds and then waits about 0,2 seconds, then again for about 1 seconds, and so on...about 500rpm pulsing up to top rpm. All the power is available (it still reaches top speed) but it seems like the engine holds each time a little bit, like surging. starting at 2500 - 3000rpm what causes it? No engin fault lamp. Cleaned the maf, egr ok.
best regard paa

Magnetic valve (Magnetventil in swedish) pending turbopreassure is often this valve.

hey, thanks for the reply :D . have now checked the dynamic pump setting, changing vac hoses and tried a new maf sensor without any change ...is it the valve that measures the pressure u mean. Or is it the valve that are mounted at the air filter housing?

What do you mean by mentioning audi? I think it causes confusion at the moment.

Because the 2.5TID is the audidieselengine and not the D5. No the magnetic
