Hi I am new among you , and come from abroad to ask for help , I recently bought a Volvo V40.Masina has 301 560 km , have a more difficult problem , accelerates very slow , especially until 4000 to mention rpm. The engine works very well from my point of view and consider that they would not behave so for mechanical reasons .
Perhaps you've struck by something and you can guide me to the source of the problem . So far I checked full exhaust, I changed the spark plugs + induction coils checked , verified vanos, vacuum system checked and all were ok .

Thank you in addvance

do you have a good idling?

if i were you i should start with checking the air filter , if it have had an older user before you and they have droved it very kindly ( slowly) it might get better if you drive a little aggressive for a while but im not sure that this last advice will do any good but i would at least tried it.

also check so your brake doesnt lay on , just drive and talk a walk around the car and feel on the wheel if its hot or smell from the brakes
