Hi there
wonder if any one of you ever heard about this problem. Shortly after start driving approx. 300-400mtrs a rather strange sound appears from engine room left side, the sound lasts only 1-2 seconds and sound like breaks needs to be switched, this is not the case but same sound. My mechanic can't find anything but has a friend who got the same problem with his 850. This sound appears every time the engine is started.

I would guess that it's the ABS self test you are hearing. It does a quick self test, i think it was when speed hits 30km/h.

That`s nothing to worry about, it`s totaly normal sound
Maybe sometimes it`s irritating, but you get used to it!
