The thing is that I have a nice lilttle Volvo 850 T5 here in Denmark,

However there is beginning rust at the rubberbands near eg. windows and at the front-cooler and some other places on the car.
The overall paintjob is I guess "ok" - but not great - colours have naturally fainted a bit in time...

So it would be nice to have it completly repainted - however what would it cost? Any pros/Cons?
Any local shop that you can recommend in Sweden? (in the South - I am willing to drive for a good price / solution).

I have zero to none experience with paintjobs, wax etc.. so any help would be appriciated!

Hey man! here in sweden is it expensivt to repaint a car.. you better count with minumum 10.000 kr. I've heard poland's sheep, abaud 2.000 kr.. but I dont know.. I also got a t5 850 :lol:

well, I don't know if I really agree with "antere". If you want to paint a car in poland and want them to make all the work you should at least expect a price at 6000-7000 kr. If you want it done legally, that is. I my self have relatives in poland, so I've checked the prices on some cars.
In sweden i doubt that you can get a good paint job for 10000 kr, if you want it legal and let them do all the work. Unfortuanetly I dont have any price to give you in sweden, but I can guess that it will cost 15000 kr or more.

Yes, prices are probably the same in Denmark or Sweden.

I´m in contact with a danish "polish" agent, that makes contact with the paintshops - so I hope to have a price soon

6000-7000 for a total repainting in poland is also a good price i think. Is there anyone who have any contacs or experience in this area? How long do they need the car? Two-three days? Sounds interesting...

Well I will probably soon know if there are any benefits from doint it in Poland... remember that you also have to drive there yourself, sleep-over in the meaintime, maybe also "risk" your car and so on.

But I will let you know (if I remember to get back here :)
