Hello everyone!

First of all, I am Sorry for not writing in Swedish and hope here are a few people who understand my English.
Eventually, with time, I will understand a bit of swedish in the future :-)

A few years ago, my daily driver (a modern Opel) broke down one time to often. So I decided to not repair it anymore and instead get a car that would actually be fun to drive and repair, but still useful for daily use.

It took not much time to get to the Volvo Amazon, so I started searching for it. On the way, I also found some offerings of the PV 544 and 444, but as much as i liked the design, it would not be fitting for transporting big and heavy stuff.

One day, I visited a classic car broker, that offered everyday classics from different brands and he had that mist green Duett
in the very last corner of his hall....

Since then, I drove this Duett around 50.000 km in the last 4 years and had the best times of my life with it, either traveling through Germany / France, transporting building material for the house or even doing questionable shenanigans with the boys.

Right now, I decided to not drive it for some time to have a chance for doing some urgent bodywork and finally renovering stuff that I know about since I have the car.

It will get a complete renovering of the engine compartment and front suspension system, aswell as bodywork around the driver seat.

But I wouldn't want to perform a full restoration for various reasons. (At least not as long as it is not neccessary)

instead I got very lucky to find a second Duett via the german community, that actually is in a near to perfect condition.
Nightblue-gray, without any weldwork, rust, or bodyplast. I just couldn't resist... :-) :-D

When Greta (that's the name of the green Duett) is back on the road again - it will continue its purpose on beeing a daily workhorse, while the blue Volvo helps out on the way and then gets to be the "Sunday car" ...

However, why am I telling you all this?
I hope to find other enthusiasts who appreciate the qualities of the Duett as a daily car, and not only for driving to the local car meet but also driving to the camping vacation or work.

One of my big dreams would be to drive Greta through a big vacation of Sweden and Norway sometime in the future :-)
